Our Club is comprised of Lion volunteers who donate over 1,000 hours to our community each year.

LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION
Each year the Jacksonville Arlington Lions Club donates to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). This foundation provides grants and funding in the areas of Vision, Disaster Relief, Youth, Humanitarian, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer, Environment and Hunger. It has been rated 4-Stars by Charity Navigator.
FREE CHILD VISION TESTING
Each year, the Jacksonville Arlington Lions Club performs vision screenings for over 1,000 Children. We are partners with the Early Learning Coalition in this project.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Jacksonville Arlington Lions Club provides scholarships to graduating High School Seniors who anticipate going on to study in the medical field. Last year, the Club provided $7,000 in scholarships to graduating Seniors!

EYEGLASS AND HEARING AID RECYCLING PROGRAM
The Jacksonville Arlington Lions Club has 31 collection points in the area for used Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids in the greater Jacksonville area.
These are collected and sent to the Florida Lions Recycling Center, where they are cleaned and reissued to those who could not otherwise afford them. We collect over 50,000 pairs of used glasses annually.
GUIDE DOGS
The Jacksonville Arlington Lions Club makes annual donations to the Southeastern Guide Dogs, which provides service dogs to the visually impaired, Veterans and others, at no cost.
SCHOOL VISION SERVICES
In Partnership with the National School Nurses Association Jacksonville Arlington Lions Club provides vision care to hundreds of low income children through the VSP Sight for Students Program.
